Welcome to Campaigning Through Time, a ‘historum’ for the discussion of military history and the archiving of current events and commemoration. As founders, our goals were to create a community that would last, that would pride itself on purposeful discussion and relaxed moderation, and would ultimately nurture and encourage interest in military history. Working with the University of Kent's Military History Society and their network of students and alumni, we hope to extend military history to all who wish to learn more. All are welcome!

Hello everyone,

As you may have seen, some of our members have contributed articles to our series commemorating the 70th anniversary of D-Day. We've been fortunate that such a wide range of subjects dealing with multiple perspectives have been contributed, they have attracted dozens of views and encourage some discussion and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who contributed.

Their articles, and others, can be read here: in-a-nutshell-magazine-f51.html

After multiple requests, a section of the forum has now been created for Europe, we also decided to link NATO into this subsection as NATO's focus was/is predominately on Europe. We hope that this new section will serve well all those who requested it and many others. Additionally, a section dedicated to Espionage has also been created, and we hope that this section in particular will develop fascinating discussion.
